Where was she so against the war publicly before her son died or during the first Gulf war in 1990??

Nice that there is only an issue worth fighting when one sees a chance for some press.

You know, if she did not have a son who died in the war, then people would say she should shut up because she is dishonoring those who are fighting in Iraq, and that until someone in her family gives their life, she has no right to speak out.

It's kind of like those who want to re-open the 9/11 investigation. The conservatives scream that they are dishonoring those who died on 9/11/01. When told that most of those in the movement are family members of those killed, then they change their criticism to "they are exploiting the death of their family member so they can get press".

So then the question is, how can one effectively (effectively means you get press and your issue becomes known by the masses) protest the war in Iraq?

In the case of Cindy Sheehan, I believe she sat outside of Bush's Texas ranch for more than 2 weeks before anyone in the media even noticed her. She was not there for the press. She was there for the cause.

Who cares about Gitmo? Those guys there get better food and conditions than they do back home.

BS man. Partying in Venezuela and Cuba, is just a way of showing what an American can do that wants attention. And that is all she is looking for, do you see here doing media reports in the US on prime networks to discuss her "cause", no, she simply gets her picture with leaders who are in LOVE with the idea of an American who dislikes their government.

If those traitors are standing outside the gate at Gitmo Bay I certainly hope a machine gun operator in one of the guard towers has an "accidental discharge" and cuts those rotten creatures in half for the good of humanity!!.

Next we'll see pictures of them posing with RPG's and AK47's in Iraq and holding hands with their terrorist buddies, just like Fonda on a Commie AA gun in North Vietnam.
