FYI, If anyone wants a Wii, they're available for preorder on ebgames.com for shipping on 1/24. BTW, this isn't an advert, I've just ordered one myself, and am waiting with bated breath! If you're too impatient for that, then try the toys 'r' us website, as they become available for purchase online sporadically, but you have to act quickly.

Had a Wii and PS3 since the 1st day and there are certainly differences between the two! The Wii is a physically stimulating system with plenty of fun games, typical of Nintendo.

The PS3 I have 1 game Blazing Angels which is a great WW2 flying game, I have also downloaded 4 demos, 2 racing, 1 lemmings and 1 Resistance: Fall of Man. My son beat Resistance demo in 10 minutes I am still trying 2 months later!

Great Blu-Ray player fantastic images on my 100" screen and to date no overheating issues, fan noise, freeze ups or other problems that seem to have plagued others.

Base your choice on what you want and will use

If you have the ps3 game that you want to play now or watch the BD movies, then get it. Otherwise, I would wait for the later batch so that $ony fixes the heating issue and some other bugs like not able to play some of the BD movies... etc.

I really love the graphics but the selection of games is pretty slim. As for the Blue Ray, I haven't had a chance yet to try it out.

Thanks for the heads up but I just checked EB's website and they wany almost $600 for the Wii bundle. It comes with 4 games which is nice but they are charging full retail for each one so that's $200 worth of games, 3 of which I don't even want. Oh well. I guess I'll wait until they restock in the stores.

You can get them through the PS3 store on your PS3, if your smart and create a few user names in different countries you can actually download different games and trailers.
