Great write up Kevin. Now we know the reason why you got the Wii, you have a bum shoulder and it's easier to play armchair sports than the real thing

I feel for you buddy, I have the exact same problem right now, did the cortisone route and ignoring the surgery advice for the time being! So best of luck to you.

Nice read Kevin. Enjoy the Wii.

I have a bum shoulder as well. Any strenuous overhead movement (serving, spiking, throwing) with my right arm causes painful inflammation of the bursa. Did 6 months of physio with no improvement. I had to give up volleyball, softball and tennis. Fortunately it doesn't affect my golf or squash otherwise I'd have to take up knitting or something similar.

OMG! Now I know for sure that Tom Cruise has lost his mind. Did he not see the Spice Girls movie??? Anyway, I suppose that comic genius would be required for any movie about Scientology since it is a pretty laughable subject.

I have heard few stories among friends of people accidently hurting their family members while swinging their arm for tennis or baseball on Wii. They need a fence around them while playing Wii as others don't know. One patient had a broken tooth as husband did not notice wife walk behind while swinging.

In my defense, it wasn't that hard and it was totally an accident. I thought I was André Agassis for a second and took a big swing during a spirited match of Wii tennis.

I wind up hurting myself more than anything.
