LED work bench drop light - good or bad?
 These lights aren't cheap. I'm seeing 60-75 LED droplights for $50. Are they too bright? IMHO, too bright is worse than flickering. Here's a review by techie, who apparently is not a car guy. http://www.the-gadgeteer.com/review/...led_work_light Last edited by asawadude; 01-22-2007 at 04:47 AM.

Looks good but the price is kind of high. Also, as convenient as rechargeable tools are, you have to plan ahead and make sure it's charged up if you're going to need it. That bugs me. I've been meaning to buy a corded drill for those spontaneous drilling jobs when my rechargeable isn't juiced up.
If flourescents are giving you a headache then you should switch to something else.

You can solve the spontaneous drilling jobs thing by getting a second battery. Mine came with 2 when i bought it so I haven't used my corded drill in a long time. Hmmmm maybe i should sell it to you.

If i read the ad right i guess the bad part about this light is the fact that the recharable batteries cannot be replaced. That would be a deal breaker for me. (Specifications: 60 SUPER-bright LEDs Non-replaceable NiMH battery pack (no memory effect and more friendly to the environment)
