I just don't like people playing with animals. Using animals for racing to make money out of it. Screw that.

Michelle & Wagner, the colt had a heart of gold. He did have a very severe fracture, however, he was in excellent hands at the NBC. Hindsight is very easy.

X5user, we do not play around with animals, this is more than a profession for us, but a passion. We are here to provide the best possible professional service to either cure their ailment or to limit further suffering. Actually, Barbaro's owners are very kind people who cared for this colt tremendously. The whole team is shattered currently, that is how much time and dedication they put in the care of this patient.

What was courageous, however, was their decision yesterday to perform humane euthanasia following the teams immense dedication to Barbaro.

Horses who crack their legs as Barbaro did are ROUTINELY put down. For some reason it was necessary to draw out this Colts pain. Call it what you will, he should have been put down. This is not hindsight, I said it the day it happened.
