Anyone here with CISSP certification?

I am currently preparing for the cert and plan to write the exam in possibly 3-4 months or earlier. Any pointers would be appreciated. Currently following the "All in one" book by Shon Harris.

So I have heard. Supposedly it is one of the toughest exams. Surprisingly all CISSP test centers here in VA are booked till April because of some DOD directive.

I have gone thru the week prep class. My test is still scheduled out. The information is very broad and not very deep. It requires a slight change in the thought process for me, as I am a Systems Engineer. Physical vs. Logical Security can be confusing, I always think logical first.

what reading material did you use? Like they say CISSP is 50 miles wide and 1 inch deep.

I took the ISC2 training class. I would also use their material as they are the authors of the test. Additionally you can take some sample test for free at www.cccure.org Click on quizzes and select CISSP. You can customize the sample test to specific domains if you want to concentrate on a domain. I also have several books, CISSP for dummies is actually pretty good. I also have the Sybex Study Guide.
