You applied??? Will you like it? I did! Small..everyone knows you...you go to any office or professor and they know you by name!!! Considering the size (1220 when I attended), it's like the world in a very small package!

The Citadel - class of 1971 - BS math - a hell of a place to go to, but a great place to be from - usually in the top 10 best public colleges in the south

The important thing about selecting a college is what do you want to do, what are your likes - do you have any idea what major will help you achieve the career path you may want to pursue? How strong is the college in that field? What are it's placement rates for graduates (in your major)? What is it's reputation in the business community? Where do you feel comfortable? in a classroom of hundreds? or one with less than thirty? Where will you be able to study? (ie, do they maintain a level of quiet in the dorms on school nights or will you have to spend time elsewhere to get your work done without interruption?) Of course, if you're going to college just to get drunk (and be somebody) and party, you can narrow your selection down to the Playboy list of party schools.
