I have an E90 330i and I must say that it is a great DD. It's not too big and not too small. The looks are great while not being wild. It's mature but still young and fun. It is very practical with four doors and I ordered mine with folding rear seats and use that option regularly. I just used it to haul some flattened cardboard boxes off to recycling. Overall the car is as close to a perfect balance in terms of handling and suspension. It feels fantastic and even the exhaust sounds really nice with a little bit of a deep growl.

With the 335i there is not much to go wrong with. Same great package and my 330i but more power.

Was over at da fest looking for 335xi coupe pricing - not just yet.
Anyhow, another thread on something I've been keeping a close eye on - the temps on the 335 series.

http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=193732

I forgot but there was another thread where 335 on DE runs that were up in the 300 temp ranges.

Check out E90post.com, there are several posts. The entire overheating story appears to be a non-issue. The root of it, apparently, is that the manuals show different oil operating temperature ranges for the coupe and sedan, and that the Euro models (with gauges in C) go to 338 F instead of 300 F. Lots of people seem to be comparing coolant temperatures to oil temperatures.

Haven't seen any overheating reported to date.
