Question Download Speeds

When I'm browsing, my download speeds for files always seem to go down some. We're suppose to have 6mb of downstream bandwidth here with Comcast, so what gives?

Go to this site and test your real download speed. Give it several tries to get an average.

check the speed with your antivirus and firewall on and then do the same without them

So nothing wrong with your download speed. What makes you think you have a problem?

My file download speeds always seem to go down a bit while browsing, when I check my torrent client.

Try this site for checking your speeds. It's a more robust test IMO. Just pick download>Smartest
