The 13th colony was Georgia, founded by James Oglethorpe in 1732 as a refuge for debtors and convicts.

I am an American Army Soldier about to deploy to Iraq in one week. I am proud of what I do and Very proud of my country. It does bother me a little to see people protest in such a way but that is why i and many others before me have made great sacrifices for our country so that we all have the right to freedom of speech. The part that really does bother me about their protest is that the main contributors hide their faces behind masks. Which only shows that they do not truly believe in what they are protesting. War is never good, but in a world of good and bad it will always exist.
