Well, in Southern California, land is so expensive that there many new communities that are built by "track-home" builders and the land is subdivided literally in sq. foot. There are few places left where they actually divide the land into acres in SoCal.

In my section of town, an ordinance was passed that each lot cannot be smaller than 1/2 acre which is refreshing compared to other neighborhoods where there are "cookie-cutter" homes with about 5000 sq. foot of land. There are homes in my neighborhood where the land has been subdivided by 5 acres, but that is really rare in Southern California.

For instance, one of my friends' home is about 8 years old (one of those cookie cutter homes), he has just under 3000 sq. ft in his house of livingspace and the home sits in a lot of about 8000 sq. ft. His home is worth almost $1 million.

Haha. I was being sarcastic...
They just granted a waiver so there can be a "downtown" kind of neighborhood like that, but we just say .3 acres or .08 acres or whatever...
The 2 acre rule is nice where it still exists though, eh?

wife got her hands dirty

The center part of the circle driveway used to be all grass. I was out of town last month for a week and my wife replaced the whole thing and did the work herself. I had no idea 'till i came home, nice job 2. Well she doesn't have to work so that helps

I've driven the srt 8 on a few 6-7 hour hwy trips and the seats were very comfy. In the x5 i used to get a little low back discomfort.. A little plasticy but the seats fit well and it has all the interior gadgets. I just started using the built in u-connect(bluetooth) which is very handy while driving. Handles very well in and out of the corners
