Ultimate Drive Pics - Tate BMW

See below.

- Hydrogen 7 was AWESOME!!! I couldn't believe you could switch from H2 to Gas on the fly while driving with basically no change at all to the feel of the car.

- 550 was nice, aside from the fact that it was automatic.

- 650 Coupe, total beast....this is my obvious replacement for my 545i.

- 328 convert. , didn't really feel this ride. Interior was sub par to both 6 and 5 by far, not to mention the 7. To me you really knew you were in the lower end of BMW's line.

All in all, very cool. Wish I could have hung around for the free food.

Sub X6 news...spoke to two of the engineer/tech/test drivers from Munich. They said the X6 will be very, very similar to the X5 with only two doors. Nothing like the X3, almost a lowered chopped down X5 with 2 doors.

So basically, I shouldn't go for a test drive until I'm ready to pull the trigger?

How far in advance did you and Michelle hear from them to schedule? I haven't heard anything yet

L, no don't drive the 650...I was "this close" to asking the dealer...what would you give me for the 545

Had I not just got the 545, I probably would have done it.

If the X6 will look like the current X5, only lower, 650 here I come. I really starting to lean that way.

Great pics, Ryan!

I was planning on taking more pics of the Hydrogen 7's after I finished driving everything else, but they pulled out early. I'm glad you got some up close shots!

I fell in love with the 6er! What an amazing car! Did you listen to the radio when you were in it? The HD had a great sound. (Those were my presets, too! :p)

Laura!!!! I thought of you immediately when I was driving the 650! I thought to myself, "I better warn her not to drive this thing until she is ready!"

The official sign up dates are posted here: http://www.bmwusa.com/bmwexperience/...s/udsk/default

However, unless the event is extremely busy, they don't stick to the sign-up schedule, so you can just jump in and out of any car you'd like!
