That's odd. It showed for me.

I was linking in directly from yahoo search. Oh well...I saved it and hosted it from my photobucket. Try now.

Never owned a car. Had a 77 Chevy 3/4 ton "rust bucket", 83 and 87 Chevy one ton 4x4's, 93 F350 Diesel (340,000 miles on it) and last on the list 2005 F350. I forgot my daily driver 99 Toyota Ext. cab.

Thumbs up We are talking about 1/2 ton pickups here, not 3/4 ton

You are so right!! It's only a matter of time before Toyota out sells the crappy big 3 in terms of units sold. It's going to take some time to do that, but it will happen. Already domestic truck owners are flocking to buy the '07 Tundra. Toyota's planning to sell a very conservative 200K units this year, which will be a piece of cake based on current sale figures.

Well, the thread was originally about 1/2 ton pickups, but what would be the point?.....

However, since the International corn harvester pickup conversion has been posted, take a look at a real pickup. Ford. Cat diesel power, and not the lightweight automotive Cummins 5.9B. Bring your wallets.

http://www.f650pickups.com/indexb.html

I saw a very restrained brand new Ti AG F650 crew cab (only had 4 doors, not 6) dual rear wheel pickup with Cat C7 power several weeks ago, going through a PDI process. Nice truck. I would take the 860 ft-lb option, with a 10 speed. If you are going to have a truck, you may as well shift for yourself.

There are lots of other builders out there doing these, not sure who built the one I saw.

Wow! I'll take a C7 powered anything over a PSD powered CXT anyday.
