Thumbs up 1/2 Ton Pickup Trucks

I was wondering how many X5 owners are also into Pickup trucks? I've owned three different Tundra's...a 2002 Access Cab, a 2004 Double Cab and now my '07 Crewmax. Here is a picture of my CrewMax with the '06 4.4 X5 after they got washed.

whoa, that's big.

No dis at all to you, but I believe if you need to buy a truck, buy an American one, not like the (once) wimpy Tundra. I guess it's better now. I would get an F-150 if I needed a truck.

on that topic, my $.02 says if I absolutely had to buy a toaster-truck, I'm fond of the Sierra. They're really not that bad.

(sorry, Tru, but I have a vendetta against F.o.R.D) )

The F-350 belongs to my ex. I used to drive it all the time. I miss that truck.

The GMC is one of my Dad's trucks. (That's my then-11 year old sister behind the wheel pretending to drive.)

The Mack is also my ex's. Never drove it myself, though.

i've never owned anything quite that big. in all, i've owned 3 toyota pickups.
1 of those, a '91, i still own. the others were years ago and those were 86/87's.
this is a pic of my '91, taken the winter b4 last.

I've owned 2 Toyota pickups, a Chevy C3500 xcab, and now an '05 Ford F350 crewcab Powerstroke diesel. Some my knock American build quality, but IMO domsetic pickup trucks are real trucks and imports drive like toys. My current Ford F350 is the best truck I've ever driven or owned.
