I would think you'd see more use of the 4.8 V8 and 5.0 V10 before you'll see a V12 come in anything but the 7 series. I would also doubt on a s/c, at least state side.
And yes, the M5/M6's just got released with the current 5.0 V10...I wouldn't expect any change in the M models motor (at least not adding 2 more cylinders or FI) until there is a model change in 5 years or so.
