Well, I already spend $100/month for my "obese" Treo 650 so which means my total cost of ownership is $6,000 in 5 years, $12,000 in 10 years, $24,000 in 20 years?
 There is also another news item which says that the iPhone may not rock the music industry based on a loser that spends $100 monthly buying music in his cellphone..something the iPhone cannot do. Regardless, first thing Friday, I will be part of the waiting line in front of an AT&T store here.

 I'm having a hard time figuring out how they generate those numbers? Phone cost, plus fee, plus 24 month plan I guess. Most phones are in the $1,000's new at that point. Cingular 8125 (when new) $400.00 Act Fee $30.00 Monthly plan: $89.00 Total over 2 years: $2,566.00 (priceless)

My verizon plan ends up over 100 bucks every month for a treo 700... the cost is about the same as an iphone and plan I'm switching for sure in the next couple weeks.
