Not that unusual. We see them all the time.

Here's the one that crashed our picnic a few weeks ago at the Chateau St. Michelle winery in Seattle. That's my bottle of water he's about to drag his tail over. He walked around like he owned the place. I guess he did own the place.

There was a male that I would see in the morning on the way to work. He would hang around, walking through the streets, taking his sweet time. He's been a fixture in the neighborhood for years. Not long ago some little crack head decided the peacock's time in this world was done. It would always make me smile to see something so beautiful and out of place adapting and going about his business.

We see lots of wildlife up here on the Mtn., but a peafowl is a first sighting for me...
not sure how this sub-tropical bird is going to do in a serious-azz Zone 5b winter
and with the bobcats and coyote packs.

It flapped and struggled its way up into a big hemlock last night and was back in
our driveway this early am.

thats pretty cool...here in CT were loaded with deer, the deer population is pretty incredible, but the wildlife in your yard is a lil more exciting than deer
