Toyota 4Runner..Old guy driving, window open, arm out window. 4Runner rolled on drivers side. He just scratched his arm and refused medical attention. They took him away in the ambulance anyway. Wonder what his blood alcohol will reveal. A retired NYPD LT witnessed it. He had to run but gave me his name and number before he left. Turns out both my brother in-laws (also on the job in NYC) know him. As did the officers on the scene. When I saw the 4Runner flipped I didn't have the heart to wig out on him.

I guess I need to start thinking about what my next ride will be. They have to total her, no? I was really looking forward to being an X6 guinea pig but if I need a ride now, that's not in the cards

Get a 2 year lease on something, let someone else work out the bugs on the first run of X6's.

I would suggest an M1-A2 Abrams tank in Titanium Silver with a nice black leather interior :p

Get a 2 year lease on facelift 650 coming next month or an M6. M6 has big discounts these days. Did I say CSL?

What's the gas mileage on that? It just may be thirstier than the X5.

Naw....

I agree with others, get a short lease, it can be on a "cheap-o" if need be, like a 335i, E350, 535i, A4, Mustang, Civic, Corolla, etc.

As sad as that is for your X5, Laura, I am so glad that you were not in or close to it when this happened. As for being totaled, I'll be surprised if it is. I would be pushing for an M6 as a loaner while the repairs are being done
