Meh - that girly-man team? (OK I'm biased -- I went to Clarkson - one of their Div 1 rivals, for those that don't know )

CLARKSON!?!?! CLARKSON!?!!?!?!? PFFFFTTTT!

My father is a Skating Saint from SLU he wouldn't have let me take a full ride to Clarkson if it were offered let alone even apply there

Again, thanks. If anyone has any other thoughts or comments, I would greatly appreciate it.

Jeff, by the way, welcome back. Glad to hear you had a relaxing and "unconnected" weekends. It's nice to have one of those every once in a while.

If you hung a sheepskin from RPI on your wall anywhere in the N. East US you'ld be immediately regarded as a well educated individual. Get a hold of the undergrad review books with the SAT requirements to get into RPI, you'll see that they are very exclusive. When I got out of HS I had a pretty damn good "resume" but I got wait listed at RPI but got into Syracuse, Cornell, Brown and Binghamton... That should tell you something about RPI.

Well, like I said, I am looking into their online MS degree in Technical Communications. In all honesty, I had "peripherally" heard of RPI, but did not know much about it. I just want to hear comments, suggestions AND/OR opinions (if you've attended) of the school. In other words, ANY information that anyone may have about the school would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to PM me or email me.

Thanks a bunch! You guys are the best!

Juan

Wow...! Yeah, and that's one of my "issues." The people whom I asked and said they had heard of RPI were mostly from the Northeast. When I ask "locals" (I am in Charlotte, NC), I get shrugs. Due to my wife's career, my moving to any other location is VERY unlikely; this is why having a degree from an university that is "known" is important to me.
