now the problem is... how to flip over the ski....
To Clarify~ Should I use fiberglassr repair kits? or the putty is just fine? I have a black haul... so I don't think color would be much of a problem... except the scratches are so visible Last edited by x5turtle; 10-05-2007 at 11:08 AM. |

My advice is to let a local boat or PWC shop repair it. They do this every day, and can do it in a few minutes. I had my dealer repair a small scrape on mine, and cannot see the repair. They acted like it was no big deal.

1. Let it dry well 2. Put some fiberglass resent over it and let it dry well 3. Black should be easy to match. Use jel coat. 4. Sand, water sand and buff. 5. Go play. |

yes, but does the putty works as fine as the gel? what is going to be the best way to do this?
I talked to the mechanic which is 70 miles away... he told me that he will charge 50 dollars to fix the haul... I think is a pretty good deal.. but driving that far... is tough. |
