Actually I'm up to Desktop 3.0 Build 5582.0 as far as parallel updates are concerned. I did see something about the MacFuse issue last night but I'm way behind because of a construction project and have not been able to research further.
As i mentioned everything works fine and i only did a simple upgrade
not the "Archive & Install" method. For me I run a very clean system with little or no cranky applications. Under those conditions it was suggested that the upgrade option would work just as well and aside from the issues i mentioned everything seems to be just fine. When i get some time i will research the downgrade option for the MacFuse issue unless someone can fill me in.

In addition, when you were upgrading the OS, did you choose the "Archive & Install" method, and check the box that said something like "Save preferences and system settings" from the options area?
