Can you rip CDs and DVDs with a MAC?

Is there any way to do this? I know macs have the whole copyright proctection bullsh*t.

First of all the copyright protection is not a "mac" thing it's a film studios/music label thing. And yes you can rip CD's and DVD's no problem.

It is a very easy thing to do...You can rip CD's right to iTunes and DVD's with some free software.

somewhereinla is right. Copyright protection is not a "mac" thing... not even a "Windows" thing.

CDs: Yes, they can easily be ripped using iTunes.
DVSs: Yes, using third-party software -- Popcorn is one that comes to mind. Go to Version Tracker and do a search.

Thanks guys. In about a month, i will be purchasing a 12" Powerbook loaded with every option. Looking forward to it.

PS: Dashboard is just about the coolest thing iv ever seen on a computer.
