The science of electrons and particle charges was well established prior to 1930. What was agreed on (and still is) is that the atom is the smallest indivisible particle. Electrons were discovered in the late 19th century and the science of them was well established by WWI. Einstein's theory of relativity, which was written in 1905, makes many assumptions about electrons and their behavior.

Wow, did it require an airline ticket to make that jump in logic? When did I ever say all scientists are wrong? It is GIGANTIC assumptions like that that make people believe that a Utopia is possible.
