Thanks...the build site looks like ~10% off list. Not huge. To get HUD, one has to get the 3LT pkg... I may waddle down to the local Naples Chebby stlr with our two sets of clubs and try out the trunk. Our phatazz '02 C5 has a huge trunk which has been a plus for all the retiredbum golf trips the CEO&I take. With the "supplier disc.", it looks like ~57 Gs. A wad of dough, as I suspect my '02 won't bring big bucks...interesting though. I gotta win the lotto; I miss that big paycheck rolling in over the transom, lol! Thanks...mD

btw i was driving thru west virginia on hwy 79 this weekend and saw 8 z06s on an open trailer in the sleet and snow,,, shame they don't transport those things in enclosed trailers... the best v8 in the world deserves more respect OR NOT

btw- are vipers shipped in enclosed carriers? if so, do you wonder why they cost $15-$20k more than a Z06? Do you enjoy paying a premium?

so many questions...
1. All vipers(i believe since 1992) are shipped in enclosed trailers and are stored inside untill ready for shipment to the dealer or even to u're door... the pics are some of the first 08s arriving at woodhouse /an old storage pic / home delivery
2 It is only a premium if u don't get u're money back at resale... i recently sold my 03 viper, 22k miles for 10k less than purchase 3. i got lucky on my 08 viper purchase... my dealer located in New Boston Tx has all his sales staff on salary , no commission and he shows customers the msrp and invoice on all cars.. on the viper the diference is 9k and most people are paying msrp...fortunately for me i'm paying 3k over invoice although i was willing to pay more from another dealer.... 4.Also it is a premium on a car that outperforms the 08z06 in every category except depreciation In the end tho it's all about the driving experience and what floats u're boat vette or viper or whatever Premiums - try finding an f430 coupe with <2k miles for less than 215k or an 07 gallardo spyder for a similar price ----The diference is u're going to get a lot more back on the resale of the ferrari..SO i will wait patiently over the next 8-10 months until i find a seller with the right price / right car i'm still split on the F430/gallardo decision but when i decide i'll post the pics Last edited by soccerjunky; 12-09-2007 at 10:07 PM.
