Favorite Thread:
I like the open discussions, not the cut and paste threads, with bonus points for openmindedness.

Favorite Member:
No specific member, but any MD thread is usually pretty good.

Favorite Meet:
Never been to a real meet, but the Vancouver mini-meet with PNG, his friend, and me, in a pub in downtown Vancouver, was great.

Best Car Moment:
Trading the fleet all at once. Goodbye Z4, 325xi, and X5. Hello X3, and 535. Any day with a new car is a good day, and I was fortunate enough to have two of those days this year.

Personal Highpoint:
Made VP

Personal Lowpoint:
Hitting the pavement at 30 km/hr on a tandem bicycle, getting back up, and finding out that my wife couldn't. Things have been improving since then.

What you’re most looking forward to for 2008?
My wife regaining her health and usual activity level, our eldest daughter coming home from an exchange semester at PUC in Chile, getting back to cycling, and launching a new project at work.

Just today I have another

Personal highpoint:

Allan my better half received a phone call from the hospital today. He was offered a cancellation appointment for the 4th January to get his torn Meniscus Knee Ligament fixed. After 12 months of waiting and 12 months of him using crutches being in pain and not getting about easy, which in one way or another has affected both our ever day life. We both can't wait roll on the physio

Favorite Thread:
JV's "Gene Wilder Share-A-Ride" story. It's one of the all time
Funny azz true stories. Rack It!

Least Fave Thread: "How do I check my oil and what oil to use?"

Favorite Member: DrDrex & UCrew for having the ballz to step outta
line, tell the Lunch Room Wardens to kiss off, and fire up this Board
out of thin air. Without it, we would not be reading all this good stuff.

There are another couple dozen posters that I read everything they post...and,
I'm honorary prez of the Cmyx5go fan club and proud of it.

Favorite Meet: Every one I've been to is better than the rest, as we
get to see old friends and meet new ones. Meets are Titz, imo. V & I
really enjoy the diversity, intelligence, and "younger than us" crowd
that in general, comprises the meet attendees. There is no one we've
met at a Meet that we wouldn't welcome into our home for a stay or,
would offer any kind of aid we could, in tough times.

Best Car Moment: Any time I'm hammering the VetteVert along the
twisties of the BlueRidgePkway near our NC house; Carolina Blue Skies,
top down, tunes cranked, Borlas blatting, etc.

Personal Highpoint: It's all good...glad to have my health,
my Fam & my friends , and to stay a RetiredBum.

Personal Lowpoint: Didn't have any...

What you’re most looking forward to for 2008? Seeing our Kidz and
our granddaughter ...staying alive and enjoying this ride.

Thank you to the posters that tossed me the props. I appreciate
your kind words.

And, Congrats to Major for sliding past the Evil C Footman!
Best Regards,
Ol'UncMtr
