iPod users- Headphone Question
The reason I ask is my iPod is usually plugged into the car and I rarely listen to it outside the car but I'll be doing more air travel and want to take it along. Anyone try the Bose in-ear ? I definitely dont want anything bulky.

Have you used them on a plane, if so, do they provide any sound cancellation? Some of the reviewers on CNET complained about them falling out.

I hate the Ipod ear buds because after 1/2 hr. they hurt my ears. Too much pressure against the cartilage to keep them in.
So I got the Sony, noise reduction. I say they are very good as they have different size buds that you can put on them so they comfortably fit your ear. But in the same breath, the adjustable buds can easily get lost rendering the headphones useless until you buy replacement plastic. So, I have to carry two sets with me when I travel. The Sony set which is comfortable and does a decent job of noise cancellation. And I carry my Ipod buds in case I lose the small plastic fitting for the Sony's.

Don't like any in-ear earphones. And, since you are getting them for airline travel, noise cancelling makes sense.

I have them too. Good investment for long flights. The kids like them in the car for the same reasons.

Well I ran out and bought the Bose since I'm leaving tomorrow for CA. It was between the Bose and the Shure se 110 ($100 range).
The guy in Best buy was pushing the Shure but my gut told me to go with the Bose. First impressions is they seem comfortable enough but the sound quality isn't knocking my socks off. They seem to be lacking in the hi's. Thanks for the feedback
