Talk about a honeymoon being over.

Eddie Murphy and Tracey Edmonds have separated. The two just got married Jan. 1 in a beautiful (not legal in the states) Bora Bora beach ceremony, but according to People, they called it off on Monday. The problem? The first days of the newlyweds' honeymoon was marred by screaming matches and arguments that lasted the entire week. According to People, there are no plans for a reconciliation. There has been no comment from publicists for either camp.

UPDATE: Murphy's rep issued the following statement to TMZ: "After much consideration and discussion, we have jointly decided that we will forego having a legal ceremony as it is not necessary to define our relationship further."
