good shot. the truck brakes are worth their weight in gold. saved me from a fair few deer in my day.

Glad Your Safe L! I took applaud the BMW brakes, Actually German Brakes, The Treg's are stunning as well, those Germans sure know how to design safety!

L!! I just saw the picture. Holy cow! That is way too close for comfort. I am glad that your okay. I agree with lots of people's opinion - it's the person that is behind the wheel and knowing your vehicle that counts.

The biggest concern, as mentioned above, is people behind you not being able to stop in time. In my opinion, its often those American muscle cars that have the worst brakes in proportion to their acceleration abilities. The rotors on the Mustang I had were the size of milk bottle caps.
I have put my brakes to the test many times while doing 100+ and a vehicle pulls out into the left lane. Not one time have they ever faded or failed to perform.

He didn't say, I didn't ask. I believe he veered onto the shoulder and over reacted when he realized and jerked the wheel way to hard.
