just hit west side ave and you're in for a treat. there's a variety, but hands down to fiesta grill..great food for great price also clean, and they have a parking lot so you won't need to street park unless it's full. There's a red ribbon at newark ave. and other pinoy shops all around. let us know when u visit again and we can all meet up.

Would you guys give me an address so, that I could put it in my GPS? I know I am asking alot but, darn it...if I want to eat Filipino food, I have to fly to Tampa to see the 'rents. And I don't really cook! And I am from Philly, don't know the area in Jersey City.

Gerry,
there are 2 Fiesta Grills in JC, same owner, one in West Side Ave, another in Newark ave (original). 819 W Side Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306 (201) 433-9600 655 Newark Ave Jersey City, NJ 07306 (201) 656-7060 prepare yourself for kalderetang kambing (goat), and papaitan, and of course my favorites, chicharong bulaklak and crispy pata... ![]() or you can try Rowena's 444 W Side Ave Jersey City, NJ 07304 (201) 435-1567 the best kare-kare in town... my cousin used to own his own Filipino restaurant in Newark Ave, 'Maynila' but his resto is in Staten Island now... send me a pm and let me know when ur planning to come by ![]()

all this talk about food is making me hungry...yeah fiesta grill in newark ave is too small and no parking but same great taste..they take pride of their lapaz batchoy and crispy pata..their sisig is not bad also..i guess best way is to experience it yourself. rowena's is a small joint with good food as well.. just go to JC and experience them all, then afterwards go and chill at the starbucks by the marina close to newport mall.. good times.

Since you guys are at it, here's a dish that I got to eat recently when my buddies and I rode our bikes in Ilagan, Isabela. It's called Cabagan pancit. It's got to be the best pancit in the whole world!
