Well, somehow we manage. There are also Porsches, Ferrari's, Lambo's and other exotic sports cars that survive the sometimes chaotic traffic conditions here.

Btw, nice Mustang you got there! There's a fairly large group of Classic Mustang (circa 60's) owners here too. Most of them imported from Japan would you believe?

welcome last5oh!

Tom, i finally installed my flares and re-installing bumper support. I tell you, makes a big difference. I met with andaya last weekend and you should check out his ride, same color as ours and his is like an ultimate in MOD. He is selling his 22" wheels and tires though...

Ah... you can only go so much with larger rims without the car looking like a "kalesa" (horse-drawn cart). Case in point... on the Right are the stock 60 series tire and rim from my Mustang, on the left the 45 series 'Upgrade'

When viewd on the car it was barely acceptable, any larger rim and thinner tire would have looked awfull. Daylight within the rims is just not cool.

With upgraded brakes - 13" discs and twin piston calipers it looks much better.

I can't understand those sport-compacts with 20" rims, thin tires and daylight visible in the rims - and drum brakes too!!!!

Yes I believe you... I was there last August (stayed in a hotel in Makati) and saw quite a number.

BTW...I was just told about a 'new"? Expressway that links the former Subic and Clark U.S. bases. The photos in the email showed very little traffic on nice roads that looked like they were in southern California.

Looks like the ideal place to 'test' the X!.

I'm guessing you'll have to pay a toll.

June 15th is our independence day parade in Passaic. There will be different pinoy food vendors showcasing their specialties and it's a fun day.

It's in Passaic Park. plenty of parking where we can take pics and stuff.
Hey everyone in the Tri-State, if I do not have to work tomorrow (Sunday 15 June) I am going to head to this for the Phillipine independence day party. Where is the best place to park?

i'm not sure i'll make it tomorrow being it father's day and all. The park itself have some decent parking lot if you get there on time otherwise you'll have to park on the side streets..fwiw, enjoy!

I travel that route at least 4x a month and it is a great place to ride the X. The countryside scenery's just great that you sometimes forget that you're going over 140mph!

First 2 pics were taken before it opened. Our bike group was able to do a test run. We were only allowed to use the opposite lane then. Last one was taken a few days after it opened to the public. And, yes, toll fees required.
