Ok, that's fair enough. I understand that people's status can change. I wasn't suggesting you not do a background check, I was looking at a way to wave the 10 day cooling off period. Here in PA, and I assume in other locations, when it's time to renew your CCW they do a background check to make sure you're still in good standing. They also do that with a gun purchase. All of which is fine by me. My point was if I already own a firearm then making me wait to get another one really doesn't serve any purpose and is an inconvenience (and at time a major pain and a small expense). That’s my complaint with the whole waiting period.

Now, if you were a REAL gun guy you'd know that it's a magazine, not a clip.... :-)

Peace....

I only have about 1000 rounds through it, don't really shoot it much. I have just over 15,000 rounds through the G26 (my carry gun) though (probably because 9mm is 1/3 the price of 45!)

I am a member of Classic Pistol in Southamptom, was just there from 2-4 this afternoon playing with the 9mm ar

The big hole is 29 rounds of controlled RAPID FIRE at 20 yards, while the 3 strays were the last 3 of the mag, aiming for the middle of the head for the initial shot, followed by however quickly I could possible pull the trigger for the following two not really aiming at all (kind of like a "tripple tap" )
Nice shooting...I have been up there once or twice to shoot, I usually go to Target Master on Rt. 202 or with a couple friends that have memberships at some local outdoor ranges (Central Jersey, Lower Bucks and Pottstown). The pic that I posted in this thread holding the AR-15 was taken about 3 weeks ago in the desert, I believe we were just outside of Mesa AZ.

BIG GUNS ROCK!!!

I have about 25 guns but here's my favorite. One of my buddies kids were shootin it that day. Kids love it. It is an absolute pleasure to shoot. It has the recoil of a .243 or less and I load the shells for about 56 cents each. We have a 600yd range near me and I can shoot consitent sub-6 inch groups with the Hornady A Max's. Mostly my buddies & I shoot mil pull downs like the armor piercing incendiary bullets that give a great fireball when they hit. The tracers are fun to shoot miles out as they stay lit for well over a mile.

Sweet lookin gun! It's a 5.56?

It's a State Arms .50 BMG made right here in Wisconsin. The scope is a Nightforce 5.5 X 22 and man what awesome optics. I take that scope off the .50 each fall and put it on my Weatherby .338 Winny for elk hunting in Idaho.

Nice. Next time I need to kill a Mack truck I'll call you. Lucky you reload your own .50BMG. That's expensive stuff!

Cool. I think I've seen that gun in "Halo". Nice that it fired good ol' 5.56. Is that even a regular AR magazine?

The coolest part is the concussion you feel when you shoot it. Not from the recoil but from the energy of the shell. You can literally feel it in your whole body when you touch it off. Has anyone else here ever shot a .50 BMG?
