I'm as pissed as the next person about the screwed up moron throwing a puppy off the cliff, but what in the world does this have to do with leaving Iraq???

To do something like that, the guy has serious mental problems to begin with. I say we throw him off the cliff and be done with this.

The video made me sick and angry; however, it is equally offensive to blame this event on the military. Animal cruelty is a sickness which usually comes on early in a child's life. Saying the military caused this idiot to act in this matter is like saying football caused Michael Vick to do the same.

You need to rethink your own feelings before you make such an outrageous claim. I'd be willing to bet the incidence of animal cruelty in the military is much less than that which occurs in civilian life.

And NO, I am not saying THIS is the reason we need to leave Iraq, you are right; but it is a side affect of our extended time there IMO. according to the article. Which I happen to agree with.
But I will alter the title. You may not agree with somebody's opinion, but you shouldn't reject it.

PLEASE...Some armchair therapist making a psychological conclusion from a single clip. Now he is a victim who should have our sympathy. How do you know or for that fact anyone know what this un-named solider was like as a kid? There are a multitude of factors which could have triggered his behavior. As I pointed out earlier...This syndrome usually comes on at an early age and is a sign of deeper trouble.

I'm not surprised the Left ABC news is using this event as did you to make a political point. Again...What part of Football induced Michael Vick to fight dogs...Must be the violent act of being sacked or chased out of the pocket.

Where exactly are you getting the number of civilians killed in the war at over a million? Just curious.

We agree on one point. "We don't know". For a major news agency to turn this sick event into an anti war story or justification for pulling out of Iraq is WRONG. No therapist worth his or her salt would ever come to a conclusion as to his motivation from that single clip.

Journalism at its worst.
