Thanks guys!
Yeah, you can just pull onto a sidewalk anywhere and just park! By the way, I have NEVER seen so many X5's in one city in my life!!! It was by far the most popular SUV in the city. And I would say at least 75% were black in color & mostly 4.4's. There must be lots of money in that town as I saw at least 6 diff Bentleys and tons of BMW's and Mercedes. I rented a little ford at the airport for the week and we drove a few hundred miles into the countryside and had fun. The air is quite polluted in the city and EVERYONE smokes! Not the hot ladies as much as the guys though. By far Kiev has the most beautiful women I've ever seen ANYWHERE in the world and I have seen most of the world. Wow!!! The people in Kiev were much more friendly, helpful and seemed more happy than the people of Moscow. Kiev was less expensive than Moscow also. Talked to Anastasia tonight and she got word that she got her "shengin" (sp?) Visa so we may be going to Poland at the end of the month instead of Moscow as it will be less expensive for the rental car, hotel and food.
I'm still not home as I was supposed to fly from Detriot to Duluth MN but the flight was cancelled due to freezing drizzle in Duluth. So yesterday & today I've flown from Kiev to Amsterdam, from AMS to Detriot, From DTW to Milwaukee, from MKE to Minneapolis and next from MSP to Duluth (I hope). Then tomorrow morning I have to get up and fly to San Antonio so by the time I get home tonight it'll be after midnight and I won't get much sleep before I get back on a plane again. At least I'm racking up NWA miles for my flights to Europe. Just heard we have a fresh foot of snow at my home so now I wish I would've left the Blizzaks on the X for the drive home from the airport tonight! The 20" General Grabbers do surprisingly well in the snow but not nearly as good as the blizzaks.
Have a good night all!
Dean
