About the Northwest and my impressions. Oregon is nice if you want a peaceful, quiet place to settle down and love the environment. Or if you want to work for Nike. The drivers there go about 10 below the speed limit at all times, the property taxes aren't cheap (based on what my relatives in Portland say), and you can't pump your own gas. That place is just too full of eco-hippies for me.

Washington isn't bad, although I don't know if I could deal with the absurd traffic in Seattle. But the weather is too dreary for me.

In Seattle. dreary aint the word. Depressing is more like it
