The Issue, is that this in unacceptable and should they decide to side with me, I'll remove the dispute, paying 250 a night to sweat in a hot room AND not be comftorable (which last time I checked is why I stay at the Hyatt)

Please try and keep it civil.
I understood fraud to be deceiving in order to obtain benefit or gain. What did you tell the credit card company, that you didn't stay there? That you didn't sign the hotel register, acknowledging the rate in advance? If you had a problem with the room, your recourse was with the hotel staff, before you stayed the night. If they had a money-back satisfaction guarantee, you wouldn't need to cancel the credit card. If they don't, and they don't want to comp you a room, you are SOL. You agreed to pay when you signed the credit card, so removing the charges is generally under the banner of lying for benefit or gain. Try paying attention. Of course, if it is all bluster and the charges get reapplied when the hotel produces your signed credit card slip, then I guess you didn't really have them removed, did you? And you think I'm the idiot?

Better check that the V4 Accords come with air conditioning.

True, true. Please keep it civil. I know you're PO'd Ryan and I totally understand that but JCL is a gentleman and I don't think he was trying to insult you.
I have disputed charges when the merchant wasn't being straight with me but it seems to me that your beef is with Hotels.com. Don't they have any sort of assurances on the quality and amenities of hotels they list? If not, I would try going up the chain with Hyatt. Of course, you've circumvented that with your CC company. I would chalk this up to a bad experience and leave it at that. I have stayed in very nice and pricey hotels that charge up to $25 a day for Internet access when the freaking Holiday Inn offers if for free. Is that on par with what a "nicer" hotel should offer as an included amenity nowadays? Hell yeah! Internet should be gratis in any better hotel. Good luck with it and now I know never to stay at that Hyatt.
