I know that is Bubba Knight, third from the left. My Pops had the 8-track. The other members of the Pips may not be original, though. But other Motown acts have done the same when older members fall off. Does David Ruffin or Eddie Kendricks of the Temptations ring a bell? Commodores? Van Halen? Menudo? Get my point?

Heard about this on the radio while traveling recently. I highly doubt that it's true...some may be staying at their parents from time-to-time but I believe everything else to be completely false. The Post (amongst others) is only concerned with revenue and more revenue...at any cost.

<tangent> Years ago, my mother came to visit my wife and I, when we lived in Orlando. While out shopping, my mother literally bumped into a large black man as she was walking out of a store, and he was walking in. After the initial "excuse me's", they sort of stared at each other, then said "Don't I know you?" Turns out they had known each other from childhood (my mom was 60 or so at the time). When my mom asked the man what he had been doing, he sort of self-consciously said, "I'm a Pip." She laughed and said he had always been a pip (in the WW2 era meaning of a good-natured rascal). He said, "No, I really am a Pip. With Gladys Knight." My mother, whose knowledge of modern music was virtually non-existent, said "OK, great to see you", and hurried to catch up with me and my wife. When she related all this to us, she was still oblivious to the fact that her childhood friend was "somebody".

I haven't seen or heard from them for quite a few years and i knew about ED's death. I don't know what i expected.
I guess i wasn't prepared for seeing some major differences (Including the wigs) in at least one of my old friends.

Oh well life goes on..... I guess it's better than the deaths of 4 people we knew over the past 2 weeks...... Arggggg
