Another reason why Russel BMW is awesome.

I took the 645 in to have its window motors replaced because VOB screwed them up months ago. While the car was in I asked for the Xenons to be upgraded and have the "50K whatever" maintenance done.

Well Tom, my SA, said he would do the headlights for free and take care of the rest under CPO as much as possible. Well I wondered why Tom would wright the headlights off like that since it is a BMW recommended 3.5 hour job

Tom didn't know the time on that bad boy and called my wife. Told her he really underestimated the time/cost involved. He broke down the actuals to her and it came to around $600+ for everything to be done.

She went and picked up the car....cost...$340.00. Tom applied a "Good Will discount" to adjust the price for us.

He is GREAT.

Wags, check this out. I stumbled across this last night. Interesting at best...you can do about 4 different colors. Sorry E70 crew, I didn't see this for you.

Hey Wag, what did they do? I've been meaning to have the 3's lights upgraded due to the fact they are way to high up (I think the sensor is bad)

That makes the light bluer, but doesn't also reduce overall brightness?

Is that a fairly common mod for 6ers? I saw one the other night and the xenons seems very different than my E90's.

Not in my eyes, I leave the house every morning between 4:30-5:00 am when it is nice and dark, major difference IMO. Far brighter light for my eyes. BMW OEM HID's seem dull to me compared to other HID luxury vehicles. Now every scientific fact will say I'm wrong, kind of like the same people that believe in creationism

As for it being a "common mod", I'm not sure. I know they are a PITA to replace because you have to remove the entire front clip of the car and pull the headlights out. However, I would recommend the change, they look great and like I said, as far as I'm concerned..better light patterns.

Here is a link to guys that totally disagree with me

That's the way it should be. Glad to hear to have a good dealer.

This is really nice to see. There are some great dealers out there that take care of their customers. Let's give them the credit that they deserve!
