Mount Washington Auto Road

Well, the other day I took a trip up the Mount Washington Auto Road. It's a road up Mount Washington, in case that wasn't obvious. Mount Washington is the tallest mountain in New Hampshire. The road is about 8 miles long, and it's very steep and narrow. I put the pictures in an album on webshots, because every time I try to add an attachment on here it doesnt work.. so here they are

CJ: Nice pics of MtWashington and good to see you back from your summer sojurns.

I've done that ride twice, on motorcyles. They had gravel sections then, and the touristas would take up the middle of the "road", both going up and down.

Both trips were beautiful down below, but the usual clouds, mist etc., at summit. Now you see the fun weather we deal with here on the mtn, as the mtns "make" their own weather often.

Your Webshots site is good, but the popups and ad runners are ferocious.

They still do have gravel sections.. I saw a few motorcycles going up. I think there was a race there not too long ago for motorcycles. I know, Webshots has bad popups, etc... It's a pain.

Great Pics, CJ. The e46 is looking great. Hayley is a hottie, too. Who IS Hayley, your g/f? Did we know about her? If not, why not? And, where's Ms. Moran?

Nice pics, CJ. I was up there in early July-rented a house in Bartlett for a week. Was nice-right on the Saco River. We biked the trails at the base of the road (Great Glen Trails).

Does the 330xi have HDC? Did you use it at any point on the way down?

The 330xi does have HDC... I didn't use it though. It was never really steep enough. The main thing that makes it hard to drive is that it's so narrow. I use HDC regularly in the winter, though, because both my school and house are on top of huge hills, so I have to get down.
