I agree, Juan. I think it's a bargain for that price. When it first came out (what was it, last year or the year before?) the thing that I hated the most was that it's dual exhausts were right next to each other on the same side. I'm glad they fixed that. I can't think of any vehicle that wouldn't look better from the back with dual exhausts - one of each side - although, the pipes on the new vettes are OK too...

It's built by Vauxhaul ,saw it on top gear
! What surprised me the most is that the host, Jeremy Clarckson, actually loved driving it which should tell us something about it's driving ability. What i'd like to see is the new z06 engine in that thing |

I'm sorry, but its still a Ponitac
. The only GM vehicles I might drive are the Holden Monaro itself, or a couple of the Opel models.

The powerplant is nice, no doubt. But its very uninspiring. And it looks waaaay to Pontiac for me. Now, a 66 GTO... that is a whole other story!

yeah test drove it since if I go through my work, I can get 2% below invoice which make it a real steal.. has nice grunt to it but the car feels relatively unbalanced through the turns and at higher speed... you could get into some serious trouble in that car with the aforementioned difficiencies. Then again, this was from driving C6 back to back and also from having an M5 as a daily driver so take it for what it's worth..

I'm planning on getting the 2007 Shelby Mustang when it comes out but that is because I will not be driving it every day. I love the design and power of that car but the overall "quality" is still an issue to me.
As for the Pontiac, nice motor..crappy design. Although you have to wonder how nice that engine really is. I mean isn't it the same general push-rod design from 30 years ago that was used in earlier Chevy 350's (I realize there is more displacement but no more technology)? Just makes me think GM always needs to add aluminum to the motor to get more power instead of changing the engineering behind the powerplant.
