There's always going to be free loaders in this world. Many people come to the US and become productive citizens (learn the language, abide by the laws, and adopt the majority of US culture while combining it with some of their own heritage). But Then you have the people who come over here to just enjoy the benefits of our country without learning the language, or integrating anything involving US culture..Its a shame that these particular people ruin it for the others....

After China took over Hong Kong in the 90's, the city's office language has changed from Cantonese to Mandarin which is more prevalent language in China, from what I understand.
Some countries with many different dialects as India they elect to use English to communicate to each other. I see knee jerk reactions to Spanish language, from what I observe. For the people who are too old and or uneducated to learn English my heart goes out for them. However, stretching out our resources to accommodate them is not the best money spent IMO. |
