Even up here at nearly 5,000 ft elevation, we have already hit 78 degs. F in the shade,
which ties the highest temp we've ever seen in our 7 years here...and, it's only June.  The A/C, set at 77ish, has kicked in on all 3 zones a few times already. The first couple years up here we would turn on the A/C just to be sure it worked...now, it's like we moved a couple of thousand feet lower... And, we have historically had very few flying pesky bugs; (I don't mean butterflies/moths and the usual mtn/woods insects)...now, we have gnats & flies up the wazoo and even a few mosquitoes, which I had never seen up here before. Regardless of "who/why", our climate has changed up here at elevation. It is generally warmer and more chaotic in extremes, imo. BR,md

Basically, it's going to be 80 with thunderstorms and tornado warnings for us. It's nice right now but spurts of sun, in Chicago, can be deceiving...
