On this one, BMW gets all the credit. Cadillac managed to make their 300hp DI V6 both slower and less efficient than the competition.

Of course you pay for refinement. I never said the M3 was cheap. If it were a cost contest the Caddy would win (only by a few grand), but we were talking about the better car, not the cheaper car.
The XLR is a dud, don't even bring it up. Worst in its class, even worse than the Lexus whale

As for one of your other posts, comparing the E46 to old CTS-V, well... Cadillac has made a huge jump, because they had a ton of room for improvement. BMW has only made a baby-step. They don't have much room to improve. That's why the new C AMG and previous-gen RS4 seemed to catch up to it so quickly.

I'd agree, however I doubt the 335 was their competition. The 535 would probably be a "yes" however, again..Caddy comes in far cheaper the the Bimmer counterpart. That of course is a throw back to all our earlier posts

It burns regular, I think that was more important to them than just hp
