My wifes BB lasts up to 4 days with bluetooth on. She uses it as a phone too.

My pearl lasts like four days with moderate texting (2K a month) and about 700 minutes of talk. (monthly, divide it i guess)

If you have any connection issues where you don't have good coverage, your blackberry (or any phone/pda) will drain much faster looking for a signal.

Now that makes sense. My cell phone works everywhere except on my block. Verizon is much better than any other service I've had. At least now I do get service but if I move my head while talking I lose the connection. For some reason cell service is very bad where I live.

Try this to find out how far you are from nearest cell tower (if you like 3-5 miles away then you probably would have weak reception)

Thanks Alex. There are 33 towers within 4 miles of my house but none are Verizon, or AT&T which was the previous carrier I had. That service was terrible.
