I don't think this is the Cayenne, it looks too small. It could very well be the upcoming Porsche "Roxster," based off the Audi A4/A5/Q5 platform.

Notice the very similar character lines on the Q5:

This makes me think that Porsche only did a reskin.

it appears Porsche’s next-generation Cayenne will be that ‘smaller’ SUV. Due to arrive in late 2009, the new Cayenne is tipped to be based on Audi’s upcoming Q5 architecture – relegating it to the midsize SUV segment.
This is the key word. Did you hear that BMW?

Next Gen Cayenne confirmed by Porsche to offer a diesel engine.
(240 horsepower and 406 lb.-ft. of torque)

definitely a step up... the current Cayenne's rear in no way fits the Porsche image... or anything close to a sporty ride. Front and back this thing (the CGI pics) looks much improved. Still like the E70 rear the best though.

Did anyone read my comment? This is probably the Roxster. The Cayenne won't be getting smaller, there will just be a new X3-fighter added to the roster.
