Does anyone have any experience with Ehrlich? How often will they need to come out to spray? Any idea what the cost will be? I don't want them to be using my fear of these two creepy crawlies to charge me for a lot more than I really need!

I cant help you with that particular company, but I use Trutech. Their cost is about $40-$45 per month and they come out once each month to spray outside and inside.
I have spiders and centipedes as well. We also have the joy of an occasional roach or palmetto bug down here in the south. |

Michelle,
I would seriously consider checking with the Better Business Bureau and on the internet to see if there are any customer complaints. I was close to using Terminix at one point, then did a search and found over 54 pages of customer complaints: http://www.syix.com/emu/html/tccmain.html I ultimately decided on a pest control company by reviewing ratings on the BBB.

Spiders and centipedes are the only bug/insect/rodent that bother me.

The centipedes like some moisture, so it may be that you have "new house damp"
until the huge amount of residual moisture expels itself; cold winter with heat on and low humidity often helps. A dehumidifier, (cheap at Lowes, et al), should help reduce the basement moisture in meantime. Centipedes can bite but you have to piss them off and they seldom travel upstairs... spiders I am a fan of, as I figure they are picking off any stray bugs and if not, they will croak too. Imo, the pest terminators tend to really go overboard with the spray and usually use a one chemical fits all approach...but, it's your house. As B-Line said, check them out and avoid a service contract; it's built-in bs/margin, imo. GL,mD

I saw this bad boy this summer (in central america)
![]() After seeing this spider, and a few tarantulas, I got over my phobia of spiders.
