Yeah but he had one just like mine. It was the same color and all. That's what made it seem so stupid.

that's interesting. I wonder if people actually do park close to you on purpose? I have often found that when I park 5-10 spots out I come back to a car that parked right next to mine.. I just never gave it much thought.

I know they do. But why would a fellow X5 owner play this silly game?

Well I think he found it coy, and why so close, he's just bad at parking.

Reminds me of my experience at a Mexican restaurant earlier this evening. It is a narrow, long lot that gets wider at the very end; I was lucky enough to find an actual space but a couple people "created" their own at the back of the lot (where it's wider). Well, some @sshole in a big white Benz decided that he didn't feel like leaving the lot because there were no spaces. He made his own, like the two others. Except instead of parking normally, he parked parallel. Which completely blocked other peoples' attempts to turn around at the back of the lot to leave. They had to literally back straight out of this long, narrow lot.
I wanted to go up to the guy and slap him. Idiot.

At my school, in the winter they would plow all the snow to the perimeter of the parking lot, obliterating about 60 spaces. What a disaster. Parking on curbs, snowbanks, the white cross lines at the end of the row, hell, even in the middle of the travel lane.

Happens regularly to me too...great pic, Gresch!
I park the Vette & X at the farthest fooking corner of any lot, hundreds of yards from the store(s) entrance and regularly come back to some beater pickup/rat car, parked next to me like we were on a small ferry boat. It is part of the Chaos Theory, I think...

![]() I always park over the river and through the woods, as far away from the masses as possible. I NEVER take up two spaces or park obnoxiously. It never fails that someone feels compelled to park right next to me, over the line no less. Fookin morons.
