15 other empty Parking Places
That's right, Right next to me. What's so unusual about that you ask?? He parked so close we couldn't figure out how he got out, and my wife couldn't get in............ WONDERFUL. Seriously whoever it was actually did what i just described...

What might have happened is that while you were gone, other cars came and occupied some of those 15 other parking spots at least one spot away from each other on both sides. So it doesn't really take a lot of cars to see that wherever someone parks they'd park right next to someone else anyway, so the logic to some driver might be, let's just park it to the spot nearest the entrance for convenience's sake. Or if you weren't near the entrance to begin with, you were just unlucky the driver picked to park next to you 'cause there weren't other parking spots that he could park away from any other car. So when other cars leave, it looks like the driver parked right next to you when there's plenty of free space.
Or at least that's what I tell myself 'cause it also pisses me off too.

Nope; none of that happend.
We we're the only ones in the store And almost no one parks in any of the spaces in front of this store because the other 3 businesses have almost no buyer traffic. Quote:

Sometimes I go out of my way to park next to another BMW...figure they would be less likely to ding my door. But I obviously don't park in the same spot as them.

So do I, but i make sure they can safely open and close their door.
In this case i had to back out of the space so someone could get in.

happens CONSTANTLY.
I caught a hyundai driver who was eyeing the parking spot next to my car (at Target, at the very edge of the parking lot, nobody around), but when they saw my alarm beep unlocked, they turned away. It pisses me off. Especially in Tahoes, and when they ding your doors. More than once at my run, I've left nice notes for the airheads driving those tanks. |

Not to me and that's the reason i was upset. There was no reason at all to park that close, none at all.
Ok I'm done RANT OVER.............

I guess I'll chime in on one of my stories. We parked at a local supermarket yesterday, and our parking wasn't the greatest, but the cars around us had worse parking. So, when we come back, I see a Chrysler van squeezed between our X5 and a Highlander. Worst part about this is that it seems that they came so close to us that their mirror had contact with ours and then re-parked. There's a nice black scratch on the corner of the passenger mirror now.
