Dentist appt this morning

Got a temp cap on a tooth about a month ago. Went for permanent crown this morning. Well - he test fit the crown (top/right of my mouth). He then turn to do something else - the crown then proceeded to fall off the tooth - and down my throat.

Well - after much gagging, coughing, choking, etc - it actually went down, no up. So - he is ordering another one and we'll try again in 2 weeks.

He swears that has never, ever happened to him in all his years of practice.

It was NOT fun.

He told me to....ahem...how to say....'monitor' my bathroom trips for a few days. Happy Easter to me, eh?

Well, that's a little odd...

Good luck "fishing."

If you'd waited 'til next Friday to tell us this story, I'd say this was the best April Fool's I ever heard. Sorry to hear about that.
Did he give you "gloves" or lollipop sticks to "monitor" your trips? It could take anywhere from 24 hrs to 7 days for it to "appear". If you don't see anything in the next 3 days, I'd have him order an X-ray

He wasn't that kind....

Neither.

And yes, it would make a good April Fools joke - but unfortunately true.

Simply can't make this stuff up!

I hate dentists. I hate them all. There's not one dentist that I like and I go to see them once every two, three years. Luckily no cavities so far.

I'm none too fond of any as well

But I'm not as lucky as you - I've had my fair share of cavities.

BTW - I'm laughing out loud on the 'bite in the ass' comment!

Jeeshh! Though, some of the Geezers I play bridge and, chase the ball with, would give their eye teeth for a really good dump, somedays,

I wonder if the crown is reusable? May be not.
