You need Windows to get the update. It seems to be a bit quicker post update. As for PocketMac, it seems to be working just fine for me.

Had a Storm for about a week, and exchanged it for an 8830. I absolutely hated the inaccuracy of the keyboard. Learning curve or not, it's rudimentary in comparison with my iPhone. It certainly is a start for breaking into the touch screen market, but a poor start IMO.

mine arrived today so far i have not been able to activate it due to the idiots at verizon messing up my contract however it is a gorgeous phone i practiced typing on it and it has been a pain in the ass so far so im going to activate it give it my 30 day trial and if it doesnt work out i will either switch to a curve, get another 8830, or go to AT&T for a Bold or Iphone
