Advice or please talk me out of this
This is going to be on my chest above my heart which says: My Son Sebastian It is to signify my son is close to my heart for the rest of my life and beyond. I'm thinking it will be small as opposed to large but I'm not sure until I go in and talk to a tattoo artist. I considered just "Sebastian" but seeing that is a guys name I thought it might confuse other guys in the shower at the gym so I added "my son".  Any opinions?

All my friends know that I love my son and my daughter but there is no way that I could get away with a tattoo like that without looking stupid. I would never be able to take my shirt off.
Maybe your friends are different but, unless you are a tattoo kind of guy or surrounded by others with tattoos, I would recommend not doing it...

Deep in your heart, you know you wouldn't want to do this.
I know a guy how tatooed obviously his child's hand prints on his shoulder in dark blue which already fading out. He's only 35. Listen to your heart.

besides the pain, thing about what ppl will say, yeah you love your kid, but its just plain weird to have your kids name on your chest.....
its just fuel for the fire that is know as puberty would you really have liked it if your dad had a tatoo on his chest with your name? im not trying to be mean, just trying to be honest.... but its your choice, there are other ways to show your love.....maybe plant a tree? buy a house for him?

I understand that you love your son, but IMO that is no reason to deface your body.
